In view of the stringent measures enacted by the Government to contain the Covid-19 pandemic and the impossibility, at the present time, of hypothesising about future scenarios, the Scientific Committee of Bologna’s Medical Sciences Festival – in the person of President Fabio Roversi-Monaco- communicates that the sixth edition of the event has been postponed. Initially scheduled for 23-26 April, the Festival will be now held from 1-4 October 2020.
“The impossibility of imagining how the situation may evolve forces us to postpone the Festival until autumn, in the hope that the measures enacted by the Government will be successful in containing new infections and the situation will improve. We will obviously use the opportunity to take stock of the health emergency we are now undergoing, addressing it with our guests: with the wish that by that time, we will have returned to a situation of stability and normalcy,” in the words of Fabio Roversi-Monaco, President of the Festival’s Scientific Committee.
