During the lockdown, Italians changed their eating habits: the way in which they consume and manage food. A poll run by Waste Watcher Observatory- a Spreco Zero (Zero Waste) Campaign initiative- highlights this trend, with special attention to produce consumption. This dietary evolution has resulted in a more balanced and mindful approach to food, a diet aligned with the Mediterranean lifestyles and culinary traditions that have been shown to positively impact personal health. Our goal now is to ensure that the Mediterranean Diet remains a long-term lifestyle choice, even once the pandemic has passed.
