Giuseppe Petralia has been a doctor since 2001. He specialised in radiodiagnostics with a thesis on angiogenesis imaging in tumours after a period of research at Massachusetts General Hopsital in Boston (USA).
Since 2005 he has worked at Istituto Europeo di Oncologia (IEO) in Milan where he introduced Diffusion Whole Body in 2009.
He is now a researcher at Milan University and head of the IEO’s magnetic resonance.
He is fellow of the International Cancer Imaging Society (ICIS) and advisor to the MR section of the Società Italiana di Radiologia Medica (SIRM).
He has written around 60 articles in scientific journals and spoken at a great many international conferences in many of which he has carried out training courses in the most innovative MR applications for oncology patients.
