Luigi Ferini Strambi
Luigi Ferini Strambi teaches Neurology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and is the director of Neurology and of the Sleep Medicine Centre at Milan’s San Raffaele Turro Hospital. The author of more than 340 scientific articles published in international journals, he is the co-editor of two books (Restless Legs Syndrome, Oxford Neurology Library, 2009; Sleep Disorders, Oxford University Press, 2017, which won the BMA Medical Book of the Year Award in 2018).
He is a member of various scientific societies, including the European Sleep Research Society, the European Academy of Neurology and the American Academy of Sleep Disorders. He is former president of the Italian Association of Sleep Medicine and the World Association of Sleep Medicine.
