Stefano Golinelli obtained a degree with honours in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bologna in 1970.
He then worked for several years as a researcher at CISE, ENEL’s industrial research centre. In 1975, he joined Alfa Wassermann SpA- the company founded by his father in 1948- and held various positions characterised by growing responsibilities.
He joined the Board of Directors in the 1990s, serving as managing director for many years.
He is the president of Alfasigma SpA, a pharmaceutical group formed in 2015 from the merging of Alfa Wassermann and Sigma-Tau.
