Vincenzo Crupi

Vincenzo Crupi teaches Philosophy of Science at the University of Turin, where he also directs the Interdepartmental Centre on Logic, Language and Cognition (LLC). He has studied and worked in London, Marseilles and Munich, among other cities.

Human rationality- in particular, as it applies to clinical medicine- is a central theme of his research. In collaboration with colleagues in Philosophy, Medicine and Experimental Psychology, he has studied medical decisions under conditions of uncertainty and risk, the cognitive processes that determine and at times distort these, and how such decisions could be improved.
